One Big Party

Friday October 14 – Saturday October 15

After 10 years the Mighty FAU Owls finally have an on campus stadium and to celebrate the Eta Mu chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is planning One Big Party.

We have planned for the whole weekend so come one come all and join us in ushering in what is sure to be a great tradition for years to come.

As some of you are already aware, the Eta Mu alumni have been holding a Tailgate Party for the Homecoming game in years past but this year we have decided to make it during the weekend of the Stadium Grand Opening. We usually have had a good turnout for the Homecoming Tailgate but this year is surely going to dwarf any previous so make your plans now.

We have a great weekend planned starting Friday night the 14^th Of October we are kicking off with a Happy Hour Cruise. The Cruise will be leaving Delray Beach at 7pm and will return around 9pm. We are looking into have a little pre party at the dock before the cruise but at this time it is still up in the air.  There will be light appetizers and a cash bar.

Since the cruise departs and returns right on Atlantic Avenue we will find some nightclub that does not have karaoke and set up camp there after the cruise.

Saturday before the game we will be having a Tailgate Party on Campus in the shadows of new stadium. The Tailgate will start early and last until kickoff and quite possibly beyond. At this time they have not officially announced the time of the game but it will probably be a 4pm kickoff.

We will be providing Food and Beverages for the tailgate Party so it really will be a little effort event for almost everyone.

We will be setting up one price for all events to further simplify things. It looks like it will be offering the Cruise, the Tailgate and a Game ticket for $50 per person.

So make your plans early and make sure you join all of us in what will surely be an event to be remembered.

I know that many folks will be coming in from out of town so if there is interest we can arrange a hotel for everyone to stay together.

There is a limit on the numbers of cruise passengers we can take and we will not be able to take payment at the dock. I have set up a link below so you can pay in advance.
